Self-study or College? The Definitive Answer

The top 4 questions I get asked as a coding teacher?

Here goes:

  1. Do you need to go to college these days to become a software engineer?
  2. Is talent enough to become a great coder?
  3. What are the advantages of teaching yourself by using online courses?
  4. What’s the right path for you?

If you’ve ever asked yourself any of these questions, I’ve got good news…

I recently answered all of these, in detail, on the Learn to Code with Me Podcast

The interview is only a half hour but is very in-depth. We discuss the pros and cons of self-study and college, plus the paths I would recommend for aspiring coders these days.

Check it out – it may give you the direction you need right now.

I just listened to the podcast. It was great! I think it’d be fantastic if you do one of these kinds of of podcasts once in a while, Mosh.
BTW, I’m wondering why you didn’t mention C#/.NET or SQL Server when you were talking about programming languages and DBMSs.
    Anyways, thank you!
